The Stormhoek Song

You know what can happen after a couple bottles of wine. People become happy, brave, possibly a little sociable and sometimes, even inspired.

So, we wanted to share something inspired with you…

Rob Lane, aka Weekend Wino, hasn’t even had his Stormhoek dinner yet, but couldn’t resist trying some. He cracked open a bottle of Pinotage and it was, apparently, a hit. He loved the wine so much, he wrote a song about it! Genius.

We’re thinking it will become our official anthem. We may even try to release it. What do you think Rob, can you hear the Ka- Ching of the royalties… ?

I had a great time writing and recording it. And of course, drinking Stormhoek Pinotage.
Drinking Right & Living Large!!!
If there was a Top 40 for Wine Songs, I think it might be a hit!

Hey Rob, Just what I was wondering? You did it with Pinotage…. Maybe Pinot Grigio or Shiraz would be easier.

Hugh and I were thinking that maybe, ‘buy Stormhoek or the Puppy gets it’ could be put to music :-).

I actually wrote a song called “Puppy From Hell” many years ago. I’ll email it to you. It’s quite amusing. I will start working on “Buy Stormhoek or the Puppy Gets It”. I’ve got an idea for Pinot Grigio also. By the way, my dinner is now set for August 19. Get ready for Stormhoek Pinotage- The Music Video.
